Tasting:
He said: Rich dark red color. No (zero) bouquet, nice strong berry taste that continued into a medium-long finish. But, there is a hint of sweetness that is very disappointing. It paired very well with the blackened Cajun chicken. At $8.99 it’s just an okay zinfandel.
She said: No bouquet. Full bodied and flavorful but has sweetness that seems to cover an underlying harshness. Smooth long finish.
Comments: This wine was delicious with chocolate, no sweetness and as smooth as silk!!!
