He said: Dark, almost opaque, garnet color. Bright cherry and hints of alcohol aromas. Lots of tart dark fruit and spice in the taste that lingers through the medium-length finish. But, it’s just a so so Zinfandel. The taste is not pleasant and the finish is just a step above what I would call bitter. Better with the lamb kabobs than sipping after dinner. At $14.40 I would never buy it again!!!
She said: We have had so many nice Zinfandels at this price so I was disappointed with this one. The aroma was more alcohol than fruit and the taste was lacking. Dry and medium bodied but with quite a sharpness that ended with a biter finish. Chocolate candy at the end did nothing for the wine. I would definitely look around before buying this one again.
