He said: Opened one hour before drinking. Clear but very dark purple color with a light purple rim. Very fruity and leather aromas. Intense dry and a little dusty ripe cherry and red current taste that continues through a lingering finish that has a dusty and very slight bitterness. WOW, it’s so smooth and well balanced. It’s good alone, but with the mushroom soup it was GREAT and with the steak it was absolutely MEMORABLE. Succulent, VERY easy drinking Shiraz.
She said: Nice dusty fruit aroma quickly reached the nostrils followed by a full bodied red fruit flavor that over whelmed the palate. Very smooth and with moderate tannins, the wine finishes more subtly than it begins. All these comments are before the food arrived and when it did all I could say was WOW! What a great pairing. It was good with the blue cheese dressing of the salad and outstanding with the steak. Absolutely divine!
Comments: This is our second bottle from our wine purchase from the Australian Wine Centre in Sydney and without question it was as good or better than any wine we purchased on the ship, at any price!!!
