He said: Very dark red color. Strong berry bouquet, robust yet very smooth taste of berries and chocolate with hints of oak, and a medium length finish that’s dry and earthy. Easy drinking and thick, this was a wonderful Syrah that complemented the lamb/veal kabobs perfectly. There’s probably not much of this vintage available; it’s worth a visit to the Itzik Hagadol Grill just for this outstanding wine!!! It’s a bargain at $45.
She said: I first have to say, “Such a delicious syrah, fabulous!” From the first aromatic sniff to the last tasty finish this wine was distinctive. Full of flavor, dry, robust, smooth and balanced. I loved every taste. It cost $45. but good wines aren’t usually cheap.
