He said: Very dark purple color with edges of brick red. Intense ripe blackberry bouquet. STRONG, dry, rich cherry and dark berry taste with hints of spice and earth, and medium-long finish with hints of bitter chocolate. Very robust and flavorful Shiraz. An aggressive Shiraz that holds up to strong flavored food. At $15 this is a bargain wine that should not be missed.
She said: When Wine Spectator gives a rating of 90 or above it is usually a very good wine. The trick is to find a wine with a good rating at a reasonable price and this wine fills the bill. From the first sniff of the very fragrant bouquet to the lingering flavor of the long finish this is a delicious dry wine with just the right amount of tannins.
