He said: Medium-dark red color. Dark cherry with hints of leather aromas. Quite strong ripe cherry and damp earth taste that continues into a very nice medium-dry medium-length finish. Nice Sangiovese with lots of earth..it’s a wine you can chew on. It went well with the garlic/sardine flavors of the pasta, had a very soft texture and was delicious after the meal. For $13.50 this is a great buy and you can taste Tuscany in every swallow. This is a wine I’d buy by the case.
She said: The dinner I could do without so in some sense this wine saved the meal. With a light fragrant bouquet this wine leads you into a full bodied taste of earthy flavors. With medium body, and moderate acidity and tannins that last into the finish this wine is a very good buy at $13.50.
