He said: Very unique Chianti. Dark purple/red color. Wonderful cherry bouquet, rich earthy cherry (yet dry) taste that goes on into the finish. The tannins were fairly strong, typical of Chianti, but the strong fruit taste (that stayed through the finish and beyond) was not like a traditional Chianti Classico. This wine was outstanding with the roasted tomato pasta, together they presented a melody of culinary delight.
She said: Good bouquet, berry and cherry taste that suggests sweetness although it’s dry. Berry flavor continues on into the finish. VERY good with the tomato pasta dinner.
