Tasting:

He said: Opened 30 minutes before drinking. Clear, dark garnet with a brownish rim. Vibrant raspberry and cherry aroma with hints of wet wood and floral. Bone dry, lots of dark cherry flavor that leads to a long slightly bitter finish and an extended mouth puckering aftertaste. SUPER pairing with the VERY RICH roasted tomato pasta sauce. It’s so fresh and light, full of flavor and the grippy tannins create a Chianti with real character. Two thumbs up from me on this one. GREAT Chianti that’s a FANTASTIC value.

She said: Opaque, dark ruby red color, thin he irregularly spaced rapidly moving legs. Absolutely divine with the dinner. With a fruity and earthy aroma, the wine burst into a dry mouth-feel full of flavors and that were medium bodied and with enough acidity to work perfectly with the tomato sauce. The grippy tannins added substance to the mouth-feel and lasted into the long finish that continued the delicious flavors. Although a bit over the $15 bargain price tag this wine was so outstanding I consider it a bargain at $18.
