He said: Clear, light ruby red color. Nice earthy bouquet with lots of ripe current. Smooth fruit taste that continues into a medium-length (at best) finish. A little thin, but OK balance of tannins, acid and flavor. For $13 this is a nice Pinot Noir and a good price for the quality. At this price point we have been disappointed sooooo many times, but this Pinot is a inexpensive keeper!!!
She said: If a delicious persistent bouquet is any indication of a good wine, this is a winner. The silky texture and firm tannins last into the medium-long finish. It was very complementary with the dinner, especially with the Parmesan chicken, and the wine did well with a piece of Lind’s “Intense Orange Dark Chocolate” that we enjoyed at the end of the meal. At $12.99 this is a bargain Pinot and I highly recommend it.
