Tasting:

Opened one hour before drinking. Clear, pale ruby color with a lighter rim. Primarily fruity cherry and raspberry aromas, along with cinnamon, “Pope Paul” rose blossoms, damp earth and clove. Smooth entry, somewhat dry and condensed mouthfeel, light to medium body and a 150-grit texture. Quite intense fresh cherry, cranberry and pomegranate flavors with flickers of tartness. Well-balanced crisp acidity, well integrated fine grained tannins with some grip and a long peppery and concentrated fruit finish that ends with a cinnamon aftertaste. WOW, from the moment we put our nose in the glass we knew this wine was going to be magical. The saturated aromas and flavors coupled with the refined tannins resulted in a very unique and sophisticated California Chardonnay. It can only be described as OUTSTANDING!!!
