He said: Very dark ruby color. Lots of fruit aromas and smooth ripe dark cherry taste that continues through the finish. This is a dark, robust and flavorful Pinot Noir. We liked the Row Eleven Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir 2007; but this has more bouquet, stronger flavors and is softer on the palate all-the-way through the finish. If you like robust California Pinot Noir that’s full of flavor this is a good one. Although it’s not inexpensive it still gets a Recommended buy rating.
She said: A wonderful bouquet, good body and VERY, VERY flavorful; not at all like a delicate French Pinot Noir. It was a delicious sipping wine. We enjoyed it with two of our “wine loving” friends and all four of us gave it a thumbs up.
Comments: We had this at a recent wine tasting dinner paired with smoked catfish and mustard green salad; however we liked it MUCH better sipping it with some cheese and nuts.
