Opened 90-minutes before drinking. Clear, quite dark ruby color with a light purple rim Earthy cranberry, cherry and mushroom aromas with hints of clove and dried herbs. Very smooth entry, slightly rustic with a dusty and spicy mouthfeel, solid medium body and a chewy 100-grit texture. Noteworthy cranberry, cherry and cinnamon flavors that had lots of intensity and created a unique fruity Pinot Noir. Mouthwatering crisp acidity, well integrated tannins that were no sleeping violet and had a growing grip all the way through the aftertaste. The medium-long finish was fill with cranberry, tart cherry and mushroom taste and really carried the fruitiness to a remarkable ending. WOW, very rich on the palate and one of the fruitiest bottles of Pinot Noir we have had in a long time. This was an unusual Pinot Noir that really had character.
