He said: Opened one hour before drinking. Clear, dark ruby red color. Light cherry aroma with hints of smoke and floral. Smooth, dry and medium-body; intense fruit flavors (dominated by cherry) and packed with mineral, fresh acidity and smooth tannins that extend to a slightly bitter ending. FANTASTIC with the mushroom and turkey pizza (a SUPERB pairing), but delicious drinking alone after the meal. Tonight’s dinner would have delighted any gourmet with the food and OUTSTANDING Pinot Noir…the wine really raised the bar on our pizza dinner!!!
She said: Almost opaque, light ruby red color, irregularly spaced, slowly moving legs. The mild nondescript aroma surprises you with a delicious mouthful of cherry flavors. The wine was dry, smooth, medium bodied and accented by spicy tannins. The finish was long, flavorful and mildly tannic. Absolutely great with the pizza, (mine: with pesto, roasted vegetables and white cheddar). I would recommend it and buy it again in a flash.
