Tasting:

Opened 45-minutes before drinking. Clear, light ruby color with a pale red rim. Ripe cherry, raspberry, cranberry and a touch of damp earth aromas. Smooth, dry juicy mouthfeel, light body and a 150-grit texture. Powerful tart cherry, raspberry, spicy cinnamon and mushroom flavors. Plentiful brisk acidity, fine-grained tannins that had a gently grip and a medium-length slightly tart cherry and peppery finish. Italian Pinot Noir is somewhat unusual and this one was rustic, very solid, tasty wine that only slightly resembles traditional Pinot Noir. We really enjoyed the intertwining tastes and put it in our “GREAT BUY” category. EXCELLENT with the dinner and probably equally as good with a wide variety of foods. We called it an OUTSTANDING value Italian Pinot Noir.
