Tasting:

Opened one hour before drinking. Clear ruby color with a slightly lighter rim. Nice damp earth, mushrooms, ripe cherry, raspberry and plum aromas. Smooth, sultry and enticing mouthfeel, solid medium body and a 200-grit texture. Strong cherry, raspberry and plum flavors with just a touch of clove. Fresh bright acidity, absolutely yummy tannins and a long tart fruit finish. WOW, WOW, WOW what a delightful, inexpensive Pinot Noir!!! Yes, it had New World vigor, but it settled down by the last pour to have a round, fruity red profile that had lots of charm. The long aftertaste echoes the fruit core and finally departs with a tiny spice upturn. Very nice everyday Pinot Noir.
