He said: Opened one hour before drinking. Clear, dark ruby red color. Lots of damp earth and a touch of barnyard in the bouquet. Tart blackberry and current that ends with a flavorful, chewy dry bitterness. The Nice soft tannins and mid-range acidity paired perfectly with the eggplant Parmesan. A well priced, delicious Nero D’Avola from Sicily.
She said: Ruby red color, slightly opaque, with regularly spaced well moving legs. Pleasant aroma lead to a mouth-feel with medium body, lots of flavor and pleasant tannins. The long finish had a good flavor and a delicious dose of leathery tannins. A great bargain wine at $15 and I would recommend it and buy it again.
