He said: Opened 30 minutes before drinking. Clear ruby red color. Dark cherry aromas. Intense, ripe, dark dark fruit taste that carries through a strong dry, medium-length, very slightly tart finish. VERY smooth tannins and a nice peppery flavor. This was cheap and pretty good, the makings for a quality wine at a bargain price. It went well with the grilled salmon and baked pasta and was pleasant sipping after the dinner.
