Tasting:

Opened 45-minutes before drinking. DARK garnet color with the same color rim. Powerful earthy dark cherry and wet wood aromas with hints of floral. Super smooth entry, fresh acidity and medium body. Strong smoky cherry, plum and current flavors. Long finish with firm round-edged tannins and a dry fruity taste with just a touch of pepper as it swirls in the mouth. Without going further this was a very special wine at only $13.50!!! It’s WAY undervalued. Great bouquet, noteworthy taste and a finish worthy of wines many times the price of this one. A perfect example of a Quality wine at a Bargain price. This one gets two thumbs up from both of us…it’s an OUTSTANDING rustic red wine that’s a FANTASTIC value.
