He said: Dark brown/red color (with a small amount of sediment). Fruity/barn-yard bouquet. Quite strong ripe fruit taste with lots of acid and hints of spice. The finish was medium , at best and had a strong earthy lingering taste (but without any fruit). It was a good paring with the dinner and delicious with chocolate. At $10.00 it’s okay, but I’m not going to buy more.
She said: Dark red brown color. Full fruity bouquet followed by tasty flavor and full body; dry with firm tannins; rather abrupt short finish with only the tannins standing out. Undistinguished with sharp cheddar but heightened by dark chocolate. this is a good buy at $10.00.
