He said: Opened 30-minutes before drinking. Clear, dark garnet color with a light purple rim. Light red fruit aromas. Dry, smooth fruit taste with a mouth filling dusty finish with dry fruit flavors. Maybe not an outstanding Rhone Merlot, but an NOTEWORTHY Merlot at only $10.80. A very pleasant (red) sipping wine that so food friendly it would go with just about everything (even roast chicken). Without question this fits into our Quality wine at a Bargain price category…in spades. Good Merlot that’s a GREAT value!!!
She said: Dark red color, opaque with thin very zippy legs. Not a lot of aroma, but the flavor, smoothness and luscious texture makes a wonderful sensation on the palate that lasts into the long finish. With medium body and soft tannins this is a very easy drinking wine. It paired well to the flavor of our roast chicken and even my chick pea side. This was a very special wine because it’s an excellent red sipping wine, can be paired with diverse foods and at $10.80 is a bargain wine.
