Tasting:

He said: Opened 30-minutes before tasting. Clear, very dark ruby red color with a slightly pale rim. Ripe fruit, damp earth and wood aromas. Strong, smooth and classic Grenache strawberry and cherry fruit taste with lots of smoke and creamy texture. A long smoky finish with just the right amount of subtle tannins. VERY delicious Grenache. Rich, smooth and lots of fruit flavor…excellent with the dinner and sipping afterward. A wonderful present and a wine I would buy in a flash…I recommended it as an excellent buy at $25.00

She said: How can I describe this aroma? Delicious, succulent, sensuous? But then what can I add for the taste? Both are full of red fruit but have a hint of smokiness that takes them to another level. With lots of body, dryness, medium tannins and long finish this is a wonderful wine but drivers beware, the alcohol content is 15.5 percent. I love this wine and recommend it but it is considerably more than a bargain price so you might consider a splurge; it’s worth it.
