He said: Opened 30-minutes before drinking. Clear, Ruby red color with a lighter rim. Light fruity aromas with hints of damp earth. Smooth, ripe cranberry and raspberry taste with tads of red current. A dry, very slightly tart fruity finish that goes on and on with lots of fruit and spice in the after-taste. WOW, great Beaujolais, a noteworthy mix of flavors and a ridiculous low price…if you like good value and Beaujolais this is one you need to try. A strong two thumbs up from me and a jumping up and down positive recommendation. It’s a Kermit Lynch import so it should be widely available…and this is a value-packed wine that’s worth pursuing!!!
She said: Although I am not a Beaujolais fan I have to admit this is a very good wine for a dinner like ours. The aroma was delicate and slightly fruity but opened up into a rich red fruit flavor. Although light bodied the wine had an intense flavor that was great with the diner. The fruitiness followed through into the long finish and made a memorable pairing. This is a bargain wine at $13 and I look forward to it again.
