Tasting:

He said: Clear medium ruby red color. Fairly strong musty, cherry and plum aromas. Very smooth, dry, dark fruit taste that ends in a much dryer finish. I would describe it as an OUTSTANDING Chianti at this price point. Quite fruity, perfect dryness and absolutely great with the pesto tortellini dinner. I like the Caparsino Chianti Classico Riserva better, but at about half the price this is a bargain Chianti that’s really delicious.

She said: First sniff was fruity and that set the stage for what was to come. This Chianti was full of flavor, had medium body, but was not as dry as many Chiantis tend to be, although it ended dry. It was delicious with the dinner and I couldn’t stop myself from slurping it down as I ate. At $16.20 it is a VERY GOOD buy and I would recommend it in a flash.
