He said: Dark red color with a little brick red around the edge. Intense ripe black cherry bouquet (not your ordinary Chianti). Very intense dry, black cherry/blackberry taste (not your ordinary Chianti) that continues into a long finish. In one word it’s DELICIOUS!!! Perfect with the red sauce dinner, flavorful and a wonderful balance of tannins, acid and flavor. This is one of the most flavorful Chianti’s I’ve ever had!!! It’s simply a memorable Chianti and for the quality…a bargain at $25.
She said: Remember those big jugs of Chianti that were popular in the sixties? Well, forget them because this is a Chianti to set the standard and bears no resemblance to Chianti’s of the past. In fact, it bears little resemblance to a lot of the Chianti’s we have been drinking lately. On the contrary, it is amazing!!! The full flavored bouquet that persists through the meal leads to a dry, medium body, full of tannins and a long tasty finish. Absolutely delicious and great with the garlic red sauce dinner. And, thought the price is high I would strongly recommend it. This was a real treat.
