He said: Opened one and a half hours before drinking. Crystal clear, very dark ruby red color. Fairly strong aromas of mushrooms, bright fruit and smoke. Smooth, dry, strong fruity taste. And a medium-long very dry finish. This one goes to the top of the list so far. A bouquet that grows on you and dry delicious flavors that go all the way through the finish. We’re getting close to the EXCELLENT level here. Look for this if you can find it. a VERY NICE Cabernet Franc from Chile.
She said: We knew the night before that this wine had to be opened early and that piece of information proved very valuable. The first sniff and taste were OK but as the wine opened up it became absolutely delicious. Although it lacked a strong aroma the wine had an abundance of flavor and full body. With light tannins and medium length finish it went well with the rack of lamb but excelled with the cheese ending of the dinner. I look forward to another bottle.
