He said: Opened and recorked for 5-days. Very dark, almost opaque, garnet color with a brown rim. Strong raisin and cherry aromas with overtones of sweetness. Silky smooth, heavy sweet mouth-feel and abundant raisin and fruit taste that goes through the finish which had unexpected tannins. Thick viscosity, deliciously sweet dessert wine that will end a special meal with a wonderful note.
She said: The full red cherry flavor is joined by a super sweet viscous mouth-feel that slides over the palate with a heavy tread. We tried this with cheesecake and Brie cheese but both were disasters. When we had it as a dessert all by itself and it was delicious. I am not fond of sweets of any sort but have to admit that this wine was VERY pleasant and delicious when drank on its own.
