He said: Opened 30-minutes before drinking. Opaque, inky purple color with a light garnet rim. Light earthy, dark fruit aromas. Soft, pronounced blackberry and blueberry fruit taste that turns into a tart flavorful fruit finish with hint of alcohol in the back of the throat. As a sipping wine with the blue cheese it was good, but we didn’t do it justice and I’ll bet with some red meat it would be out of this world. Deep flavors, robust and delicious. Two thumbs up from me.
She said: Sipping began with a lovely red berry fleeting aroma and progressed to a very down to earth, full bodied mouth feel with lots of flavor and potent tannins. Dry and with an alcohol content of 15% the wine was robust with a tad of harshness as it passed into the log tasty finish This wine is good enough to eat, one tiny mouthful at a time and I look forward to another bottle especially if paired with a red meat diner.
