Tasting:

Opened one hour before drinking. Clear, dark ruby color with a lighter rim. Earthy dark fruit and fresh herb aromas. Silky smooth mouthfeel, medium body and a 150-grit textured. Cherry, blackberry, plum and pomegranate flavors. Just the right amount of crisp acidity, round tannins that grow to have considerable grip in the long bitter tasting finish. WOW, we both commented that this was a noteworthy bargain red wine…good bouquet, fantastic mouthfeel that had just a touch of intensity, lots of sultry fruit tastes and a finish where the tannins just shined. Excellent paired with the pork and equally delicious sipping without food. It’s a four thumbs up red that we both thought it was so versatile it could easily become a house red. Another OUTSTANDING Kermit Lynch bargain wine!!!
