He said: Opened 45-minutes before drinking. Clear, very dark garnet color. Intense spicy barnyard aromas from the first sniff to the final sip of the last pour. SMOOTH, easy drinking, full body mouth-feel; rich cherry and red current flavors and a dry finish with savory tannins and a slight tartness at the very end. Triple WOW…at $9.00 this is one FANTASTIC bargain wine. We love red wines from Portugal, but this has to be the all time buy. At this price you expect the wine to be a little rough…this was not. It’s a GREAT wine that’s a SUPER value for the money. This one should be near the top of every wine drinkers shopping list!!!
She said: Opaque, ruby red with regularly spaced thin speedy legs. The wine was a knock out with its barnyard musty aroma. The taste was fruity and intertwined with the aroma and was complemented by a rich medium body. Dry and smooth the wine had firm tenants and a long finish that carried all its good features through to the end. Good with the dinner, but even better sipping, you could almost chew it Absolutely delicious and a great bargain at nine dollars
