Tasting:

He said: Dark garnet color. Light dark berry aromas. Berry taste that’s slightly bitter at the mid-palate and a dry bitter medium-length finish. Not much to say, pungent dark berry taste and very acid. We have a second bottle and we’ll see if it’s any better, but at this point I DON’T recommend it and am not looking forward to having the second bottle…I didn’t even finish my part of this bottle!!!

She said: The label raises expectations with its “Reserve” in fancy letters but I can’t imagine for whom it is reserved. With a mild aroma and initial flavor it disappoints from the first sip. As the mouth succumbs to the taste, strong tannins and high acidity take over and bring the experience to a long drawn out bitter finish. If you like strong tannins, and I do, this might have an appeal, but to me it did not and I don’t recommend it unless a five liter box of wine was the only alternative!
