He said: Opened 30-minutes before drinking. Very dark purple color, opaque with a ruby red rim. VERY NICE sweaty horse and damp earth aromas that get stronger with each pour. Intense dark cherry and blueberry taste that carries through a long dry slightly dusty finish. WOW, WOW, a GREAT Rhone Red. The bouquet grew stronger with each sniff; the taste was smooth, rich and very flavorful; and the delicious finish carried on and on. I loved it. A two thumbs up on this one from me. It’s an OUTSTANDING Red Rhone wine that is way under priced.
She said: Delicious with the dinner. It became more so as it opened up so uncork it early or decant for the best aroma and flavor. Nice sweaty horse aroma led to a more subtle taste. Dry, with medium body and long finish, this wine was smooth and had soft tannins. A FANTASTIC buy at $12 and I look forward to another bottle. Huge amount sediment in the last pour, but it just made the experience more real.
