He said: Opened 15-minutes before drinking. Clear, ruby color with a slight purple tint and light purple rim. Potent aromas (the wonderful smells began leaping out of the bottle as the cork was removed) including: wet wood, damp earth, musty cave, ripe strawberry and even a little barnyard. Very silky with layers of cherry, plum and spice that carry through the long, dry finish that has VERY SUPPLE tannins, perfectly balanced acidity and a tiny bit of smoky flavor which carries on at the end. WOW!!! A SPECTACULAR red wine and at only $10 it’s a rare find!!! The bouquet was MEMORABLE, the unique smoothness and nuances of flavors just glide through the palate and it was about as easy drinking as a red wine can get. Perfect with the cheeses and outstanding drinking alone. BUY ALL YOU CAN FIND…you simply can’t go wrong with this red blend!!! It is one of the BEST $10 red wines we have ever had.

She said: Ruby red, almost opaque, a few slender slow moving legs. This is an amazing wine! The aroma was full of scents including barnyard, earthiness and fruit. The complex taste with many layers of flavors and the mouth feel was smooth and dry. The body was medium, the tannins soft and the finish long and full of the flavor. The wine was delicious with the cheese and I would buy it by the case at only $11. You will search high and low to find this much aroma and flavor for the price.
