He said: Opened 30-minutes before drinking. Dark, slightly opaque garnet color. VERY intense dark fruit aromas. STRONG rich taste, spicy, lots of acidity and lively tannins. A finish that’s dry, smooth and medium-long. This is a WOW flavor packed wine that paired VERY, VERY well with the grilled beef. This is our first time for the Aglianico grape and it’s a terrific food friendly red wine…full bodied, firm tannins and pretty high acidity This is a Quality Wine at a Bargain Price. It’s a sleeper worth trying to find. Our bottle was imported by Haw River Wine in Burlington, North Carolina.
She said: Great wine at a very affordable price to pair with a hamburger dinner. The first sniff tells the story; full of flavor that lasts into the long finish it is a delicious wine. With a full body and lots of fruitiness it easily makes it into my bargain wine list. Just a little side note, the Aglianico grape goes back to ancient Roman times and Pliny the Elder wrote about it when describing his wine-making!
