Tasting:

He said: Dark, opaque garnet red with tinges of purple and a very slight brown rim. STRONG cherry, red fruit and wet rock aromas. Intense, dry, fresh cherry and current taste with delicious mineral that continues through a long, slightly tart finish that’s layered with fruit. In a word it’s OUTSTANDING. Lots of fruit, mineral and smoke; silky smooth and very, very well balanced. Simply a GREAT Bordeaux with LOTS of character at a VERY reasonable price.

She said: It is very hard to judge blends because there are no set standards. It is even harder when trying to evaluate wine left over from another dinner and it was not chosen for the food your having. That being said even after the wine sat for a day I was taken by the aroma and then by the flavor on the palate. With medium body and long tasty finish it is an outstanding wine at $22.
