He said: Opened 30-minutes before drinking. Clear, very, very dark garnet color that’s almost opaque. Blackberry and plum aromas. Strong fruit flavors that grow more pronounced through a lingering fairly dry finish with lots of acidity. Easy drinking and a great balance. At this price you don’t expect outstanding but this makes a very good attempt at it. I can easily put this into our Quality wine at a Bargain price category. GOOD Bordeaux at a super low price.
She said: We had lentil soup and brie cheese for dinner because we each had a half pound hamburger for lunch. Forget the wine with lentil soup but we wish we had brought this wine to have with the beef. Yum! But the wine was good sipping with the cheese after dinner with its fragrant red berry aroma and taste, generous body, and nice soft tannins that went into the medium long but undistinguished finish. A VERY good buy at only $10.70 and I recommend it especially for a juicy hamburger
