He said: Opened one hour before drinking. Clear, very dark ruby red color with a purple/red rim. A very inviting cherry, ripe current and abundant damp earth aroma. Medium body with smooth, dry, ripe fruit taste and a very long slightly acidic finish that has just a touch of tar. EXCELLENT paired with the venison meat loaf, but also nice drinking alone after the meal. It easily goes into our QUALITY wine at a BARGAIN price category. This is bold red, rooted in the tradition of Bordeaux and it just got better and better with every pour. A delicious inexpensive red Bordeaux.
She said: Opaque, dark ruby red color with lots of the irregularly spaced thin creeping legs. Subtle earthy aroma opens up into dusty flavors accompanied by an medium body, round tannins, high acidity and very long finish that fills the mouth for almost a minute. The wine is smooth, dry and complemented the venison very well. A bargain wine at only $13.50.
