He said: Opened one hour before drinking. Slightly opaque, dark garnet color with a lighter rim. Filled with cherry, damp earth and smoke aromas. Medium body, significant fruit tastes and a long dry mouth-puckering finish with well structured tannins. This was a WOW wine and at only $13.50 it was distinct and noteworthy. Yummy aromas that you can perceive all the way through the finish, undiluted scrumptious flavors ranging from fresh red fruit to rich mineral and a finish that was long and memorable. An OUTSTANDING blend of Cabernet/Grenache/Carignan that’s WAY UNDER VALUED. This easily gets our Quality wine at a Bargain price rating, in spades and it’s about as good as “weekday” wine drinking gets!!!
She said: Slightly translucent, dark garnet color with a brownish tint, lots of speedy legs. When a wine smells this good it has to be tasty and this one was fantastic. Filled with fruit and barnyard on the nose and palate it was medium bodied, dry and smooth. The tannins kicked in mid-palate and lasted through the long flavorful finish. Good with the pizza but also delicious sipping alone. This wine would be a good choice for many heavier meaty dinners. An outstanding bargain at only $13.50.
