He said: Opened 30-minutes before drinking. Inky dark purple color with light reddish rim. Blackberry, tobacco and wet leather aromas. Powerful, spicy, mouth filling, bone dry, succulent blueberry taste. Long, tangy, bold finish that’s a little edgy and filled with lots of rich taste and delicious plump tannins. Excellent with food and every bit as good drinking alone. A GREAT California Rhone blend that’s a very good value.

Deep ruby red, opaque, lots of thin rapidly moving legs. Full of aroma the wine stated out well and went on to delight. The mouth feel was dry, full of ripe blackberry flavor, medium bodied and had soft delicious tannins. The finish was long and delicate. The wine was delicious with the dinner but would complement many dinners and I would buy it again. It was a great wine.
