He said: Opened one hour before drinking. Brownish/ruby color with the same color rim. FANTASTIC earthy dark fruit aromas. Very lively with a fairly light peppery body, smooth rich cherry and current flavors that continue through the long stony finish. Great paired with the chicken marsala, but equally good drinking without food after the meal. Jumping up and down good aromas, rich flavors and a finish to die for…this was an OUTSTANDING Spanish Tinto that is an EXCELLENT value.
She said: Almost opaque, ruby red color, lots of evenly spaced, well moving legs. The fragrant fruity aroma was a good introduction to the red cherry flavors that the wine provides. Complemented by a dry mouth-feel and light body, the wine ends with a long finish that continues the cherry flavor to the end. The tannins were soft and blossom in the finish. A delicious wine and a nice accompaniment to the chicken marsala. Although not a bargain wine (under $15) it was an excellent buy for $20 for its great aroma, delicious flavor and all-time great finish.
