He said: Opened one hour before drinking. Clear, ruby red color. Strong cherry, raspberry and wet leather aromas (very nice for a Chianti). DRY fruity taste, smooth texture and a long dry, mouth-puckering finish. WOW, pretty special Chianti Classico…knock your socks off bouquet and rich complex flavors on the palate. Simply an Outstanding Chianti that will elevate any Italian meal to the superb level!!!
She said: Dark ruby red color, almost opaque, with irregularly spaced thin legs moving with determination. With lots of fruity and earthy aromas the wine opens up to a delicious dry wet leather taste with a light body and lots of tannins. The finish was long and held on to the flavors and tannins. An outstanding wine with the dinner, it is an exceptional wine and I would buy it again in a flash.
Comments: This was such good Chianti that we will have to have a blind, side-by-side tasting with our favorite Chianti…Caparsino Chianti Classico Riserva to find the one we like best!!!
