He said: Chilled before drinking. Clear, glycerin-like appearance, pale wheat straw color. Spring floral, honey and hints of a Pennsylvania mushroom house. Silky, just a touch of creaminess in the mouth-feel; ripe apple, pear and yeasty flavors that carry on through a slightly acidic finish that ends dry with just a tad of tartness and mineral. WOW this is so well balanced, flavorful and with an ultrasoft smoothness I would describe it as “nectar of the gods”. EXCELLENT with the lemon flavor in the fish dinner and a FANTASTIC sipping wine. It has all the Rhone varieties I like so it’s no wonder I think it’s Fantastic!!! Another OUTSTANDING Tablas Creek white.
She said: Clear, light golden yellow color. Pleasant floral aromas with a touch of honey that leads to a silky smooth mouth-feel with a hint of creaminess that is balanced by the crisp acidity. Moderately full-bodied, the wine has a long finish that ends with a pleasant tartness. It was delicious with the dinner as well as sipping afterwards. It was a real treat and well worth the $30.
