Tasting:

He said: Chilled before opening. Clear with light silver/yellow color. Cool lemon aromas with hints of tropical fruit. Smooth, medium-body with just a touch of creaminess; fresh, clean initial taste that really comes alive from mid-palate to the end. The extended finish begins with light lemon and melon flavors, than into a tartness and burst of acidity that all ends with a little upturn of crisp acidity and slight bitterness. Scrumptious paired with the chicken marsala and nothing short of outstanding drinking without food after the dinner. We really love Loire Chenin Blanc, but this was such an EXCELLENT domestic Chenin Blanc I didn’t want it to end!!! Simply a GREAT California Chinin Blanc that was a good value.

She said: Clear, light golden yellow color. Very mild lemonade aroma that gave way to an explosion of flavor as it passes over the palate. Touches of fruit such as pear, lemon and ripe apple are accompanied by an almost creamy mouth feel, moderate acidity and long finish featuring a dose of mineral. The wine was delicious with the chicken marsala and roasted parsnips & carrots and was good sipping. I would recommend it and buy it again.
