He said: Very dark red color. Very strong ripe cherry bouquet. Velvety smooth plum taste with a hint of earth, and a finish that carries the taste into a nice balance of acidity. This Pinot is much like a very smooth Cabernet. It was absolutely great with the strong flavors of the rosemary/garlic pheasant. In a word it was OUTSTANDING. Although it may not be classified as a bargain, it is a quality wine that’s easily worth the price.
She said: Deep garnet red color. Fabulous strong cherry/berry bouquet. Medium bodied and tasty, reminiscent of a Cabernet, but with a touch of acidity. Long tasty finish. Good for those who like a compromise between a Cabernet and Pinot because it stands in between and has some of the good characteristics of both. This is no bargain, but if $35 is okay with your budget you are in for a treat.
