He said: Opened 30-minutes before drinking. Clear, striking ruby red color with a tinge of purple and the same color rim. Rich musty fruit aromas with hints of damp earth, evergreen trees and just-blooming Spring bulbs. SILKY smooth mouth-feel with a solid medium-body; lots of lively cherry flavor and a long dry finish that has a perfect balance of acidity and taste. WOW, a fruitiness that’s fantastic, smooth dustiness with a touch of pepper and an ending tartness that provides a MEMORABLE aftertaste. Two thumbs up for me on this one…a DELICIOUS Beaujolais that’s a SUPER value.
She said: Clear, ruby red with lots of deep color and lots of equally spaced, quickly moving legs, Although the aroma was light the wine had a very juicy red fruit flavor that was accompanied by a smooth mouth feel and just enough acidity to keep it interesting. The tannins were soft and the finish long and flavorful. It was okay with the dinner, but scrumptious drinking alone. A quality Beaujolais at only $25.20.
