Tasting:

He said: 1st VERY nice blend. Dark purple color. Berry bouquet that was not strong, but quite nice. Strong ripe berry taste and nice long finish that mixed berry and earthy flavors. It has a velvety character that makes it a wonderful easy drinking wine. 2nd Strong flavor and rich robust berry taste (a hint of spice) with very firm tannins. At $20 this is a great value.

She said: Absolutely delicious from the first taste to the last. Lots of body and dark berry flavor that continues into a long finish. Without knowing it was a blend I would have said it was a very nice Cabernet.

Comments: The first bottle was a better paring. The acidity in the barbecue sauce didn’t go as well with the wine. It was absolutely outstanding with the steak and blue cheese!!!
