He said: Opened 45-minutes before drinking. Clear, light brownish-ruby color with the same color rim. LOTS of damp earth, leather and dark fruit aromas. Rich, velvety and polished; fleshy cherry and plum taste and a medium-long toasty finish that’s so silky and opulent it’s like nectar. WOW, Fantastic bouquet, magnificent flavors and a finish which is just plain out of this world. Needless to say I like Beaujolais very much and think this is a good one. Noteworthy Beaujolais that’s simply delicious and a great value.
She said: Clear, ruby red with a slight brown tinge on top. If you like a wine that floats through your mouth and down your throat with pleasant of aroma and flavor this is a wine to try. With a little body, it starts out with an aroma full of wet leather and proceeds to a taste that adds light red fruity flavors and soft tannins. The wine is smooth, medium dry, and has long delicate finish. It went very well with the salad and I would pair it again with a salad. To light for my taste but very aromatic and tasty. This is a very seductive wine, the aroma and flavors more than make up for the lack of body and I look forward to another bottle.
