He said: Slightly chilled before drinking. Crystal clear, Very pale yellow/green color. Light apple and pear aromas with hints of caramel and citrus. Smooth mineralality slightly unripe apple and citrus taste that continues through a long creamy finish and ends slightly crisp and bitter. Nice Portuguese white. An intricate array of flavors, soft texture, tastes that go on and on and VERY easy drinking. Absolutely, a QUALITY wine at a BARGAIN price.
She said: Light yellow color, clear, irregular slow moving legs. I was prepared for a red wine but was pleasantly surprised by a white Douro served slightly chilled. Too bad but not a total loss because the wine was great. The aroma was mild but full of tropical fruit. The fruitiness lasted into the long finish with an undertone of mineralality and was complemented by a medium body and lovely smoothness. It went well with the dinner but I would love to have again chilled because I think a lower temperature would add a sense of freshness and crispness.
