He said: Opened 30-minutes before drinking. Clear, with a very dark Ruby red color and a slightly lighter rim. Dark fruit and smoky aromas with hints of musk. Very pleasant, fruity cherry and plum taste with a long finish that has hints of mineral. Full body, LOTS of rich Grenache in the bouquet, ripe fruit flavors throughout and a lingering finish makes a very nice French red. A tad rough on the finish, but in a nutshell it’s a VERY nice red table wine that’s an EXCELLENT value.
She said: Dark red, opaque, goodly number of well spaced legs moving along leisurely. Dusky red fruit aroma with a slight alcohol scent on the first pour. The taste holds forth more fruitiness complemented by full body, dryness, and a slight bit of roughness. The finish is long and tasty with the tannins shining forth. At $15 it is a very enjoyable wine and very good with food.
