He said: Chilled before opening. Pale salmon color. Floral and fruit aromas with hints of damp earth. Quite intense fresh red fruit taste that continues through a long, dry, slightly tart finish. Wonderful bouquet, light refreshing body, lots of mineral and tart flavors that end in a slightly creamy, balanced finish. The mineral and delicious bitterness is intoxicating. Absolutely perfect pairing with the diner. Since it was our first 2014 vintage wine it was memorable, a special gift and a wine I will buy again in 2015. VERY refreshing rosé.
She said: My caveat on this one is “avoid tasting food wine when you have a cold”. You got it…I have a head cold so am reporting on the pleasures I could appreciate with a stuffed nose. The bouquet seemed to have a gentle floral note that extended into the taste. As the wine moved over the palate it had a tartness and seemed to taste best with the sausage dressing but was very good with the turkey. The light body made it a very good companion for the whole dinner and I would not hesitate to try it again with a similar dinner. This is another good one that goes onto our “buy-again” Rosé list.
