He said: Chilled before opening. Crystal clear with just the slightest tint of lemon yellow color. Wonderful floral aromas. Creamy mouth feel with ripe pear and mineral taste that had a very slight bitter end to the medium-long dry finish. We liked the 2012 and 2010 vintages and this was every bit as good. Maybe a little more mineral taste in the 2013. For us it’s so food friendly and a wine that continues to get two thumbs up from me. And, maybe what says the most…it’s a wine we continue to drink again and again.
She said: Absolutely fabulous with the dinner. Dry but floral; it hit the spot with this slightly spicy dinner. When I added sriracha sauce to the dinner it was less desirable. It’s still my favorite Gewurztraminer.
